Tianyi Chen

Tianyi Chen was a visiting PhD student from the School of Public Health at Fudan University, who visited the Ge-iSEE lab in Fall 2023 under the mentorship of Dr. Erjia Ge. Her research focuses on environmental epidemiology, particularly the effect of air pollution on allergic diseases such as asthma and childhood respiratory ailments. During her visit, Tianyi presented a seminar on her doctoral work, highlighting the use of hierarchical model and distributed lag nonlinear models to study air pollution and childhood allergies. Her visit has strengthened research collaborations between Ge-iSEE and Fudan in air pollution and children’s respiratory health.
