Narjis Fatima Hussain

Narjis Fatima Hussain is a PhD candidate in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, supervised by Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta. Her doctoral research focuses on the impacts of heat exposure during the postnatal period on maternal and child health, specifically lactation and child growth. As part of her research, she also aims to co-design heat-health adaptation interventions with communities, integrating traditional and contemporary knowledge. At Ge-iSEE, Narjis contributes to research examining the associations between childhood respiratory outcomes and exposure to green spaces, through a systematic review.
